Hi All

 

I will start off with we need rain....I would like to order a 3" flash flood ... The river is low clear and we are getting a trickle of fresh Kings. They are backing up out in the big lake and want to come but need a little help. We are still catching a few fish but it has been getting tougher since my last report. The last great day I had was on the 28 th. then the 29 th. it started to slow down big time. First light is still getting some good bites but once the sun gets high and gets warm is when it slows way down..I have been very busy  finishing projects, selling our home in South Lyon, guiding so on and so fourth..This is going to be one crazy September ...On the 28th. a Brian's client  landed a 25 lbs. King, John's client landed a 23 lb King and my client Ed landed a 20 lbs. King all on the same day..We all have stories of busted tackle from rods ,line, snap swivel,and lures broke in half. I have lost at least 8 or 10 baits on these wild fish going nuts..Till next time I get a chance to write... Have fun and hope to see you around the Lodge and on the river...
